VCP certification query

Hi guys,

               I'm a newbie here. I wanted to do a certification on virtualization and i decided to go with VMWARE ... i wanted to know how can i start with this VCP certification.. i have no idea bout the versions of this exams.. so can you kindly guide me here.

The best starting point for you is to read through the version pages and notes at http://www.vmware.com/certification

Basically you need to attend to an official course (and this is the expensive part), then you have to study the material (and I suggest also to make a lot of labs).

When you are ready you can take the VCP exam, and if you pass it you become VCP certified.

You can straight away go to VCP5 exam. But it requires 5-days of VMware-authorized training course and hands-on experience with VMware technologies. Thats it. To get know more about versions, please visit:
