So i received an email a few hours ago with my complimentary WS10 license.

It has taken 2 months but I'm glad to have received this and relieved VMware have licensed us new VCPs with the latest version of WS.  No more excuses for getting my vcap lab set up....

thumbs up from me Smiley Happy

Cheers.  It's been longer then that already Smiley Sad

I thought it would be instantaneous, if it generally takes a few weeks I will give it until the end of the month then before emailing them.

Did you complete the outstanding tasks as per the "Notice of VMware Technical Certification" email:

Please check the VMware Training (myLearn) myEnrollments page and complete any outstanding tasks such as:

-  Consent to transcript release

-  Accept the VMware Certification Agreement

To be fair after I completed these tasks my transcript and access to the VCP portal etc was sorted within 24 hours.

I decided not to wait until the end of the month and emailed them.  I also asked about the availabitity of WS 9 as I can only find WS 10 for eval.  Here's the response:

There is currently an overwhelming response of
certifications that are being processed and we are currently out of workstation
keys to provide to any new certified candidates. We invite you to download the
free trial until we can provide the complimentary workstation keys.

Please note we are working diligently to have them
generated and sent to everyone as soon as possible.

At least the acknowledged the fact there is a delay but the link they provided goes to WS 10 :smileyshocked:

My certificate literally just turned up, I passed the exam on 16th January, the postal date was 27th January, so that makes the delivery from the US to the UK nearly 12 days.
