So frustrating...   I took the foundations beta in June and took the DCV test live last week.  I passed the DCV last week and am confident I passed the foundations test easily, however I still have no results - and cannot schedule the foundations live test since I've already 'taken' the foundations test - and thus no certification.  This has caused me to lose out on several training opportunities this week at work that only come up quarterly.

This is the last beta test I'll be taking.

I can see the exam in Pre-approved Exams section on pearsonvue.com. Looks like they are going to run our answers against current exam.

And possibly fail us seeing as they changed objectives. The purpose of the beta was to choose final exam questions.

I got this email yesterday for my beta exam

We are writing to inform you of the preliminary beta exam results from your recent participation in a VCP6 beta exam.  The results indicate that you have received a passing grade on the 2V0-621D: VCP6 - Data Center Virtualization Delta beta exam which you completed on 05/06/2015.

We anticipate that Pearson VUE will officially process final scores and score reports beginning September 28th, 2015.  Your transcript in MyLearn will be updated around that time as well.  If you have any feedback regarding this message, please contact us via exambeta@vmware.com.

Yea all people I personally know and who have taken the exam got the same email with either pass or fail.

I seem to be the only one among the guys I know who hasn't received anything yet .. Weird

I took mine on the 27th .. A colleague took his on the 5th and he got his results. Technically we should all receive our results on the 28th ...

Nothing yet here either, but then again it's still late at night/early morning in the US so there's that. I got my score report for the last beta exam I took on an evening 18:00~ish CEST.

I took the Delta Beta exam (2V0-621D) and not the full exam in case that makes a difference. If I haven't gotten a notification by tomorrow, I'll mail the VMware certification desk.

I think I am mainly confused about the fact that despite the September 28th announcement, a lot of people seem to have gotten the preliminary results, which again is still outstanding ..

The weirdest thing - I can now book the live exam through VUE .. Obviously that does neither mean you passed, nor failed (or does it?)

I doubt very much I will receive any notification from VMware. I too don't understand why some people have received results and some have.

I really am just amazed that this is still ongoing.

Anyone else got any results, even if they are bad? 😞

According to reddit some people have gotten pass/fail reports. They got these weeks ago. So yes there are some "bad news emails" out there.

yet here I am, still waiting for results.

I for one will never be taking another VMware beta exam.

It is hard to see the value of a Beta exam if, like this one, you are unable to leave feedback and wait 4+ months for the result, all the way past the GA release.

The only value I see is financial. If you are self-funded and don't need the exam for renewal and you are just after the number, then it is for you. Otherwise you may as well wait for the GA version.

I got the preliminary email on 9/18 @ 6pm CST stating that I had passed the exam. I took the exam towards the beginning of May. Checking my online transcript today, I still don't show any additions. I'll keep people updated when it happens for me.

I didn't get the mail either and it is 9pm the 28th here in Europe so not sure what is going on.
