VCP-511 ... waiting and waiting

So at the risk of not being invited back to another Beta exam...

Why is it 7 weeks and counting for VCP-511 results? We spend extra time working with VMware Beta software... drive to distant testing centers because it's only offered at select testing centers... rush to cram it into a tiny window of availability... spend many hours giving feedback on 180 questions... and for that, we're rewarded with weeks of waiting for results. The VCP-510 is now generally available and the first VCP5s are already certified.

I find it a bit frustrating. And maybe a bit insulting.

Those taking a beta exam with VMware do normally have to wait til after the final exam is released to discover their result. I would hope it's not going to be too much longer for you, I'd be surprised if you didn't find out in the next week.

And now me as well, passed!

Scott, since you are clearly prophetic, I'm going to post a new message about not winning the lottery. If you could just work some of your magic, it would be much appreciated.

I'm always highly dubious of any organization that can offer a guarantee of passing an exam - that normally means the "practice questions" being sold are braindumps.

Many, many people know that braindumps are frequently inaccurate, they are a regurgitation from the minds of individuals who have taken the exam, any individual contributing to them is in violation of their certification agreement with the vendor, and using braindumps only encourages this kind of behaviour - it's essentially cheating.

Of course, those particular "practice questions" might not be braindumps.

Scott.
