VCP 5 certification

I have given vcp 410 exam and passed, i would like to know if i attend the training for vcp 5, will i be able to get vcp 5 cert? if not what should be the process for exam then?

Congrats for the pass of VCP4.

But you have a valid training for it? Otherwise you can't be a VCP4.

If you have a valid training of VCP4, then you simple have to pass the VCP5 exam BEFORE the end of Feb 2012.

can I have a training for VCP5 and i have VCP4 score, will it make me VCP5, i think no...isn't? so the best thing with me will be VCP5 training and VCP5 exam, i will not have any support from VCP4 score.

Have you attended one of the vSphere 4 courses that qualify you for VCP4, such as Install Configure Manage?

If you have, then you are now a VCP4 and can gain VCP5 before the end of February 2012 by passing the VCP5 exam. If you do not pass the exam by then, you will have to attend a vSphere 5 course such as What's New.

If you have not attended a vSphere 4 course then you are not a VCP4, attending a vSphere 5 course such as Install Configure Manage will not make you a VCP5 - you would have to pass the VCP5 exam too. vSphere 4 courses are becoming rare so you will need to act quickly if you want your VCP4 exam pass to count for anything.

You cannot mix the VCP4 exam and the VCP5 course.
