Taking VCP-410 exam on Monday (Feb 14th) - last minute advice

I am already stressed and nervous about the exam and I think it will only get worse. I have studied with some breaks since mid-December after finishing vSphere; Install, Configure, Manage course.

I have done mock exam with good success rate, watched CTB nuggets videos, read official pdf’s from the blueprint, practiced simon’s long practice exam etc.

Does anyone have any pointers what to review and focus on 1-2 days prior taking the exam?

Focus on areas/conecpts you know you are weak in and focus on those at this point.

Hi I am a VCP 410 & 310,

If you want to score maximum, then just focus on the basics of following.

1. Licensing Information ( Helpful in cores allocations and processor allocations)

2. HA & DRS

3. Roles & permission

4. (Most Important) Hot-Add features and supporting Operating systems.

5. Storage (SAN, iSCSI and NFS)

More & less, Everything is important. But the best thumb rule is stick to the basics.

Good luck with the exam.  I just finished the vSphere install/config/mng course last week and an preparing to engage in lots of study to prep for the exam.

I really did not do anything what hasn’t been already mentioned on these forums. I have 10+ years of IT experience, so a lot of the concepts that VPC tests on weren’t all that brand new to me. I also have 2+ years of experience messing with Citrix products (XS 5.5, XD 4.0 XA 5.0/6.0), so that also helped me with some of the general virtualization concepts.

Since I had no prior experience with ESX/vSphere, the major thing that I focused on was the vSphere Center interface. I literally went over every single menu items/wizard countless of time to ensure I knew the steps how to do/read specific things. For the purpose I built a decent lab that I used for almost 2 months pretty much every day. Other than that, I read through all the VMware documentation from the blueprint, practiced with official mock exam, read some of the concepts from Mastering VMware vSphere book to supplement the official documentation. In addition, I also used the following sites:
