Hi All,

I'm glad to share with you all that I just cleared VCP exam with great score. I got 467/500 !!

I took training for VCP last month from a vmware authorized center and studied the book 'Mastering VMware vSphere 5'.

Now what? I've no clue where I should login to see the transcript and do the needful formalities to get cert as well as logo.

Help me, fellow VCP holders ..

Congrats! Great score..

You have to wait for 10 business days until you it shown on your transcript if you met all the requirements.

If you have any issues or concerns contact certification@vmware.com

Congrats on the killer PASS! You knocked that out of the park, and now I'm sure you have also scored high enough to consider being a trainer as well. With VCP4, to become a VCI (VMware Certified Instructor) you required a minimum score of 350/500. I haven't read any documentation on what the requirement is to become a VCI on VCP5 material though, but I would think based on VCP4 standards it shouldn't be too far off.

The passing score a VCI needs is still 350 for VCP5 but there's a lot more to getting a VCI accreditation than being a high-scoring VCP 😉

Hi All,

I still haven't recived any mails from Vmware regarding my VCP cert. I checked on my vmware account as well but it still shows transcript for the course which I attened. It's been more than 10 days and am a bit worried.

Can anybody guide me how to check online transcript for my cert. I also need to update my Resume and I require VCP logo for the same.

I sent a mail regarding this to Vmware day before yesterday but still no response.

Help me please!

Until you get the initial email from VMware nothing will appear on your myLearn transcript. That email will ask you to accept the VCP agreement and confirm your shipping address, then your VCP status will be confirmed and appear in your myTranscript area when you login to myLearn.

You will either have to wait for that email to arrive, or for VMware to respond to the email you sent them.

I should also add that the Certification team will be busy at the moment due to the increased volume of VCP5 exams being taken.

Btw, today only I recieved mail from Vmware and did the needful. Now cert is showing there in transcrit section. Still however I'm not able to login to VCP portal. I want the official logo so I can put that on my resume and start applying.

Can you please guide wherefrom I can get the logos.

Joy,

I preparted using official courseware, pdf avialable at Vmware, Mastering VCP 5 and also checked CBT. You should try mock tests to get the feel of it as it not that easy exam, lot of real life scnario type questions would be there.
