How good is Solaris ?

Hi All,

I cleared VCP 4.1 four months back.Looking forward to take a certification in Solaris .Does Solaris Knowledge benefit while working with Vmware Products ?Any feed back will be realy greatfull !!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the Community - IMO not really any direct correlation other than being a flavor of UNIX you will get experience dealing with a CLI and potentially some scripting -

Is it true that Oracle database runs on Solaris systems?

As David Weinstein say there is not much relation between VCP and Solris knowledge. It will be good if you virtualize a Solaris environment with VMware.
