Hi all,
I have a question about VCP-DCV 7 requirements. Currently I have the following 6.7 items:
I was going to take the VCP-DCV 6.7 exam imminently, but just realised the exam has expired and it is ALL now vSphere 7.0
My question - Do any of my 6.7 components (course or Foundation exam), count towards VCP 7 ?
OR do i have to start again from the beginning? Eg attend a new vSphere 7 qualifying course and retake the Foundations 7 exam again?
Many Thanks
Mark
The retirement date for the 6.7 certification exam has been extended to June, 30th.

Note that there is no VCP 7 or VCP-DCV 7, VMware switched to using a year designator at the start of 2019, so if you complete the requirements of any of the paths on the page linked to above before the end of this year, you will be awarded VCP-DCV 2021.
Brilliant thank you both, that's great news and really helpful.
(Edit: Oops just realised Chrome logged me in as my old account, and i can't now delete the comment, but its still me 🙂 )
Many Thanks

This will explain: https://blogs.vmware.com/education/2018/08/22/we-are-changing-the-way-we-name-vmware-certifications-...
Just to follow on from my original post, I have now passed with 471/500 and obtained my VCP-DCV 2021 😀
Many Thanks for the help guys
@a_p_ From that link you posted, am i correct that certifying on vSphere 7, requires the Professional exam only (i.e. no Foundation exam?).
I ask as the Foundation exam is listed as a requirement on 6.7 but not 7.0.?
That's what I understand from the requirements.
For details about that see e.g. https://blogs.vmware.com/education/2020/07/31/new-course-exam-announcements-in-july/
