Hi Everyone,
I'm new here so forgive if this question's been asked to death!!!
I'm studying towards my VCP4 certification (self study + exam prep classes) and was suprised when a friend told me that the blueprint for the course has changed.
Does Vmware notify community forum members of new changes to the blueprint and where can I download the most uptodate blueprint for the exam?
Also will my chosen study path ( Self study + exam prep classes) enable to qualify for VCP certification?
Thanks in advance
Tayo
Troy is right on both parts. VMware don't normally notify people of blueprint changes, but it doesn't change that often and most of the changes are cosmetic or to repair broken links. The exam objectives haven't changed since the initial public release of the VCP4 exam. You will have to attend an official instructor-led vSphere course in order to qualify for the VCP certification, you won't be certified unless you do whether you pass the exam or not. I can help to get you booked onto a course as by the look of your forum username you are based in the UK, send me an email if you want my help with that: Scott.vessey@globalknowledge.co.uk
Hello and welcome to the Forums.
You can "receive email notifications" on the below document. This will help you keep up to date on the blueprint changes

No, you will not be recognized as a VCP until all prerequisites are met

Thank you both for your answers!
Hi Scott,
Yes, I am in the UK but I can't yet afford the course cost but will definitely hang on to your address for future use.
