I have recently attended VCP 5 ICM 5 day session and looking forward to write the exam. I have gone through several discussions in communities, outcome is " Scott Lowe's book and Atkinson's Book" along with documentation.
But i cant offord both the books coz of the cost. So Kinldy suggest any one book apart from documentation so that i can buy it for my exam success.
With Many Thanks

How is this in anyway an answer for my query
Both books you mentioned are excellent books (I have them both). For preparation towards the certification, I'd go with Brian Atkinson's book, because this explicitly focuses on the VCP5 certification and covers the topics of the VCP5 Exam Blueprint, which can (and should) be downloaded in any case from VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
Cheapest way is to download the VCP blueprint which tells you where to look in VMware's official documentation for more information. VMware's official documentation is actually pretty readable compared to other vendors. I used this method, but I also had a lab to test things out in.
Thanks for highlighting this useful information. I can see the blueprint is very nicely written.
In addition to the official documentation take a look at the practice exams on Simon Long's blog, nice way to get a feel for the format of the actual exam. http://www.simonlong.co.uk/blog/vcp5-practice-exams/
Thank you so very much guys I have successfully cleared the exam.. Proud to be a VCP
I am excited about sharing this information with you to help you prepare to take and pass the VCP5 test. You can log on to my blog http://www.vmwaretrainings.com and get quality training and practices guidelines.
I will suggest to have a LAB ready on VMware workstation 9 or one system for vCenter and couple of for ESXi hosts.
