Congratulations on your pass, And Welcome to the VMware communities.

if this is your first VCP certificate it takes about 4 to 6 weeks for the mail to come explaining how to finalise your certification,  there is a process on MyLearn that needs to be carried out,  this got me, and I was getting very annoyed at the time it was taking to get my certificate (4 months) until I was informed of the new process on this forum, I did not get the letter as I previously held VCP 3 and 4

Hi,

As for my experience, it takes a while...last time it took 1 1/2 month and now (upgraded my VCP4 to 5 three weeks ago) I'm also waiting for 2-3 weeks.

I know no workaround for this but, if it's urgent you could try to "escalate" the case.

In order to do this, you sholud contact your VMware representative and give him/her your case number for him to escalate it. VMware should gave you some kind of answer 48 hours after the case you first opened the case, if you didn't get an answer, that's reason enough to escalate the case.

Don't be surprised if the answer is something like "due to a peak of open cases, you will get an answer in "n" time".

That's the only thing I can think of.

I've always got my transcript updated...it only tooks more than I would imagine.

Hi

I am excited about sharing this information with you to help you prepare to take and pass the VCP5 test. You can log on to my blog http://www.vmwaretrainings.com  and get quality training and practices guidelines.

I will suggest to have a LAB ready on VMware workstation 9 or one system for vCenter and couple of for ESXi hosts.

Thanks
