vcap-dca web client or vsphere client

just wonder for vcap-dca exam, does it specifically require candidate to use web client or vsphere client?

vcap simulator shows using vsphere client but blueprint shows both under tools for each objective.

No you can use either.  I know for the VCAP-DCA 5.1 I only used the VI-Client.  As long as the item they are asking you to setup is setup it doesn't matter if you use the VI-Client, Web Client, or CLI to get it done.
