Could any of you let me know the difference between vSphere 4 Design Workshop and vSphere 5 Design Workshop?
I'd already attended workshop for ver 4 few months back.
How far will this v5 design workshop will help in future for those who are aspiring for DCD (on v5) or even for a (future) Consultant?
Your input will be highly appreciated.

Content-wise, the materials have been updated in some areas for vSphere 5, as you've attended the v4 workshop I don't think you'd gain much by attending it.
A lot of people who've done the VCAP4-DCD have said that the v4 workshop was a help to them.
The course work for the vSphere 5.x Design Workshop is virtually the same, just be aware of the new features and how they impact design/tradeoffs/etc.
I tread lightly about what I say about exam experiences but I will say if you have you course materials from 4.x then you should be okay.
Consider also that this course is needed for the competency (for partner)... have latest version may help
