VCAP5-DCD version 5.0 or 5.1

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help answear this. The current Design Exam would it have 5.1 features leaking in (SSO, ect..) or would it be 5.0 based?

I'm not aware of the exam having been updated, check the latest exam blueprint PDF for clarification.

In the blueprint v2.3 most links are on vSphere 5.1.

So I have to suppose that now could be 5.1 based (or still version agnostic).

Just check all the blueprint document.

but where is he v2.3, the one that downloads is 2.2

I don't see much difference between 1.7 and 2.2.  At least the objectives and links look the same to me unless I missed something.   So i'm assuming it's still 5.0 features.

Anyway there aren't big changes... so I assume is still a generic 5.x

I took it yesterday, and the test setup was based on 5.0 Update 1 as far as I could tell..

How can you guess the version in DCD exam? It isn't any info so specific and at least not enought specific to define the update level.

Maybe you mean the DCA exam?

As Andrea has stated the test is 5.0 based and due to the nature of the DCD even if it was 5.1 based I don't think it would change very much. My one massive bit of advice is to do all the reading you can but try get on the Design workshop and do the labs at home and learn why certain thing were chosen.
