I dont know why i put this test off for some time, so I finally forced myself to schedule and sit the exam. I didnt score as well as I hoped for, but I did PASS and thats what is important.
I'm going to be on the VCDX bootcamp at vmworld san fran this year, so hopefully that will start getting me prepped in the right direction.
I ran into a few issues with the design UI, infact adobe "crashed" on me once, but luckily i was able to start over and recomplete the question. I felt the DCA was the more challeneging of the two tests, and I pride myself on being an "admin."
Im still waiting on my vcap5-dca beta results... so im in this awkard position of:
vcap4-dca: passed
vcap4-dcd: didnt take
vcap5-dca: pending
vcap5-dcd: passed
So while i have both my vcap-dca and dcd... i officially still cant submit a design/defend
EDIT: found out that I have passed my vcap5-dca beta, so now I can work towards submitting a design & defense
Congratulations!
Congrats!!
Congratulations !!!!
Congrats !!
and today I found out that I have passed my vcap5-dca beta exam!! w00t
Now I have to start kicking myself in gear on getting a design put together for submission/defense
Congrats for both!
A month later i finally find my cert # VCAPDCD-2225
my question is why the jump from the 650/700 ish to the two thousand plus numbers?
Give some hindsight on your preparation for VCAP5-DCD.
I am in my final stages of my VCAP5-DCD Preparation and hope to give exam in 2-3 weeks time.
