VCAP expiration date

Hello Experts,

I wanted to write VCAP510 DCA exam.

I had a query.

When is the last date to take VCAP510 DCA exam.

Is it 31st JAN-2015 ?

I see some slots available for FEB month.

Could someone suggest if I have to take the exam before 31st JAN .

Taken from this page: Two Available VCAP5-DCA Exams

"This exam will be retired on January 31, 2015."

That would suggest to me that January 31st is the last day you could take it.

You should not be able to register after Jan-31.

So Josh, What I am getting here is that you should not be able to register for the VCAP510-DCA exam after 31st JAN . However, you can book the exam date for Feb as well.

The question I am asking is because I booked the exam on 25th JAN for the date of  06th FEB successfully. It did not give me any notification regarding the expiration while booking.

As of yesterday afternoon you cannot register for an exam in February.

There was a loophole exposed several days ago that allowed candidates to register for the first few days in February but that has been turned off.

Absolutely correct.

I was able to book the exam for 6th FEB successfully.

But yesterday while I was trying to reschedule the exam it was not allowing me do so.

So now whats next. Should I be able to write an exam as I booked an appointment successfully.

Yes, you can sit the exam.
