VCAP-DCA preparation

Hi,

I am currently VCP5 certified. I would like to step up to the next level, VCAP - DCA. Could someone please suggest the best lab setup that could help me in testing all possible lab scenarios?

eg: The number of ESXis...vcenter....the additional roles....

Thanks,

Nithin

two ESXi 5.0 hosts with four NICs and three networks (note you can use one physical network and three IP schemes for testing but the "observed networks" will not be useful)

vCenter 5.0 (Windows install)

VMware Update Manager (separate server)

vMA v 5.0

PowerCLI v5.0

something providing: Active Directory, iSCSI, NFS, DHCP, DNS, NTP

Autolab ( http://www.labguides.com/autolab/) is the best lab setup to practice for all VCAP-DCA lab scenarios.  It provides everything that Josh Andrews mentioned -vCenter 5.0 (Windows install), VMware Update Manager (separate server), vMA v 5.0, PowerCLI v5.0, Active Directory, iSCSI, NFS, DHCP, DNS, NTP.  I used it when I was studying for VCAP5-DCA.

Thanks everyone for the inputs....

One more help required...Can someone suggest the best book for preparing VCAP-DCA?

Heard Mastering VMware vSphere 5 is a good one to start with....Or is it just for VCP preparation?

I used this study guide when I studied for the exam.  Shane took many study guides and compiled them into one and did a great job.
