I am not sure where this question or discussion fits as I couldn't find the vCIX forums.
Greetings,
My question is I couldn't find much detail on VCIX exam on VMware sites.
Some help and guidance is required from VMWare veterans
Apologies, it seems you can bypass the VCP6-NV entirely as a CCIE, and pass only the VCAP exam - I didn’t know this!
Choose the Cisco path on this page: VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6 — Network Virtualization Deployment
There's no dedicated VCIX exam available.
"VCIX6-DCV (earned by achieving both VCAPs)"

What about in NV Track?
is it required to get only VCAP-NV or get all the (vSphere 6 or 6.5) and VCP-NV6 and VCAP-NV6 for VCIX?
[Edit]Note: I am coming from CCIE DC Background.
VCAP6-NV Deploy requires a VCP6-NV certification, so you need both of them.

But my Cisco IE fills up the gaps. Would I need to give VCP-NV?
Any of the shown paths is possible, so with a qualifying Cisco CCIE this will also work.

Holding certain Cisco certifications only exempts you from having to meet the NSX training requirement for the VCP6-NV, you’d still need to pass 2 exams to achieve the VCP, and 1 additional exam to achieve the VCAP/VCIX.
Which means you’ll need to know vSphere and NSX, regardless of what you know about Cisco products and technologies.
Alright,
So below three inputs in an equation is mandatory for but not the order
[vSphere 6 or vSphere 6.5 Foundation] and vCP-6NV and vCAP-6NV equals vCIX-NV.
Cisco IE only exempts me for the road-map mandatory training, I believe. That's a catch.
