From Brazil there is at least one VCDX (but I'm not sure if he has take the VCAP exam).

Hey Alexandre,

I gonna schedule my VCAP exam to September, after taking the vSphere Advanced Fast Track class.

I'm from Brazil, but working in the USA. So I don't know if my certification will be count as Brazil or USA.

Hello Alexandre.

I'm from Brazil and I am a VCAP-DCD and on september I will take the VCAP-DCA. I DCD exam is a pretty hard to pass because is a process modeling exam and not a Technical Exam.

You need to design scenarios from costumer requirements, constrains, risks and assumptions.

Many times the question states the scenario and you need to draw using "visio" objects your view about the cluster, the host configuration, network design and so on.

The VCAP-DCA is a hands-on exam. You will need to prove your skill installing, troubleshooting and make all stuff work.

I think in 2012 the latin america will be at a least more one VCDX. I hope it.

21 days after exam, today I received a email from VMware with my results, and I passed!

I´m from São Paulo, and here is very difficult to see professionals with this certificate.

Now I will prepare to vcap-dcd!  =]
