If I have a Master Services in DW will that be converted to a VCAP-DW?

I see the new EUC track has finally got a VCAP for Digital Workspace, however I've already got the Master Services cert. Does that convert or do I have to sit another certification?

MSC is a partner designations which require a number of partner employees to hold VCP and VCAP certifications.

This document mentions that for a partner to hold an MSC they must have 3 VCPs and 2 VCAPs: https://www.vmware.com/content/dam/digitalmarketing/vmware/en/pdf/msc/vmw-master-services-competenci...

Do you mean an MSC or are you referring to Specialist Badges?

Sorry, what I was referring to was the VMware Certified Master Specialist - Digital Workspace 2021 certification. I have the VCP-DW 2021 but there was no VCAP for the Digital Workspace only the Master Specialist, for which I had to pass two exams, VMware Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management Specialist and VMware Workspace ONE Advanced Integration and Design Specialist.

As this was the highest level of qualification available I am hoping that this will be aligned to the new VCAP-DW without me having to sit further exams.

Hi CC_Monty,

The new VCAP-DW Deploy certification will essentially replace the Master Specialist badge, starting this year. You will still hold your prior Master Specialist version, and when the new certification is posted on the web site this month, you will see the upgrade paths available to earn the VCAP-DW Deploy 2022 version.

Thanks,
Karl
