Hello everyone!
I have been using / administering VMware for more than 3 years. Started with VMware 3.x, one server and a local storage; now it’s 3 servers, and the iSCSI storage. I have some experience, but there is so much more to learn.
Recently I passed VCP4, and started think about “what next”? There is DCA and DCD exams. What do you think I shall do? What would be the best for me, and for my carrier? I realise that DCA is more for technical people, and DCD for architects, but I am not sure yet what I want to do. Sometimes I think that it would be easier to be a designer – a configuration process is sometimes such a pain!
Doeas my experience suites better DCA exam? How difficult would it be to prepare myself for a DCD without an exposure to a different infrastructures (I am not saying that it will be easy to prepare for DCA - I am aware that it is a very difficult exam).
In the terms of future job perspectives – which one of those two is more desired / is it easier to find job with DCA or DCD? There is so many questions in my head - I am sure that I am not alone. Please share your experience.
