Hello dear friends.
I would like to take the VCAP-NV certification exam, but I have a question when scheduling my exam
I have noticed that there are two ways to get VCAP-NV certified which are VCAP-NV Deploy 2020 and VCAP-NV Design 2020.
My question is:
If I took the VMware NSX-T Data Center: Troubleshooting and Operations [V2.4] course, will I be able to take the exam for VCAP-NV Design 2020 certification and what is the difference between VCAP-NV Deploy 2020 and VCAP-NV Design 2020 ?
Thanks for your reply!
Thanks for the info Karl, waiting for this exam too 🙂
Any updates about NSX-T Deploy Exam?
VCAP NV Deploy 2022 is now available:
https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vcap-nv-deploy-3x-exam.html
Is documentation available on the exam (NSX-T Data Center REST API documentation)
Did you check all of the links towards the end of the exam guide? https://www.vmware.com/content/dam/digitalmarketing/vmware/en/pdf/certification/vmw-vcap-nv-deploy-e...
Google took me to this when I searched for the API documentation: https://developer.vmware.com/apis/547/nsx-t
I mean this if any documentation is available during the exam LAB 🙂
OK, I interpret "on" as meaning "about" rather than "during" - thanks for the clarification.
I can't remember if you get internet access from within the lab environment, maybe drop an email to certification@vmware.com and ask them.
Since the exam is proctored, no access to the internet is allowed. However, you can access VMware docs from the lab exam through https://docs.vmware.com.
You can also access https://kb.vmware.com but search is disabled.
@all, this exam is now available, for NSX-T.
At test centers and available for remote proctoring!
@KarlChildsany chance you can confirm the 3.x build used in the 3.x Deploy exam environment, so we can practice tasks in a similar version? I see a few of the authors are NSX HOL Lab captains, any recommended HOL we can use to practice tasks in?
Yes, the VCAP-NV Deploy exam is built on 3.1. It will soon be upgraded to 3.2, but will not change any of the questions.
