vSphere Update Manager Never Appeared After Installation

Hello,

Another noob question that I don't understand what I have done wrong.

I have 2 VMs running on ESXi, the one named vCenterServer has vCenter Server and Update Manager both installed on that VM. I used the embedded database.

After installing, I cannot find the Update Manager in either the web or vsphere console. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

In fact there is something that hasn't gone well, have you tried to reboot the Vcenter?

I am attaching the official manual.

Yes I rebooted the VM hosting vCenter. I found that I can find Update Manager in the Flex client but not the HTML 5 client.

Hi,

What version do you have? because HTML5 is complete 100% since version 6.7. That's probably the reason.

Some vSphere features are not available via HTML5 web client in older versions than ver6.7.
