Hey All,
This may seem like an obvious question but I have noticed that when I do not have my vSphere Client open, the vCenter Update Manager "Check new notifications" and "Download Patch definitions" tasks get queued.
As soon as I open the vSphere Client, which has the VMWare vSphere Update Manager Extension Plugin installed, the queued tasks are processed and cleared.
Since VMWare is "encouraging" us to start using the Web Client, is there a way to setup these tasks so that they can run without having the "fat" vSphere Client running?
