You would only see the version available on the ESXi. You can update the Tools locker location with new ones and then use Update Manager to update tools version of all VM's.

I read carefully the docs

it seems ok but if i undertand well i have to update the value of  QueryProductLockerLocation for all vm individually.

is there a way to do that for a group of vm?

what s about new VM created?

is there a way to have the new vm create with the new value?

a kind of way to change the default value
