Wrong build number after upgrade (153840) ?

I have update a couple of servers using update manager appling

ESX350-200903411-BG - PATCH

ESX350-200903412-BG - PATCH

After reboot the build number I get is the 143128 an not 153840 as expected.

I tryed to apply the patches using command line and it says patch is already installed.

Is there something wrong with my servers or with the patch ?

those two patches are dependent on ESX350-200901402-SG , do you have that patch installed?

at the command line type:

esxupdate query -l

...and to verify your build

vmware -v

Very strange I made the upgrade with virtual center.

I tryed to apply those upgrade by hand and here is what i get

the only thing I can think of is that even though the patches you installed have a different build number as far as the patches website states, the ESX build does not actually change.

I have those patches on our test environment and the ESX build did not change. I think you are ok.

The point is that usually the Build Number reported on download page (this time 153840 for those patches) appear out after the patches are applied.

Maybe this is a bug or wrong reported on download page.

I will be nice to know where is the problem .!
