Vmware Tools fails on upgrading because of antivirus - Exclusion lists?

Hi, I got this problem described here when I upgrade tools from esxi4.1 to 5.1.

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=100996...

Have someone with success manage to create exclusion lists to get vmtools upgrade to work ?

We are using TrendMicro Officescan, and it helps to manually unload officescan on servers before upgrade, but it´s a manuelly work on each servers.

Thanks, Magnus

If I ran vmtools upgrade interactive MSI are are failing with this error "The wizard was interrupted before VMware Tools could be completely installed."

I think I have solved it now.

Exclusion folder lists for Win2003 Server:

C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Tools

c:\windows\temp\vmware-SYSTEM

c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware

Win2008 R2:

C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Tools

c:\users\All users\VMware

c:\windows\temp\vmware-SYSTEM

I´m not 100% if c:\program files\common files\vmware\drivers are needed to be excluded
