VUM6 fails to update ESXi 5.5 host to 6.0.

Host is Dell PE R610 with all peripherals on the HCL.

Any ideas? VUM throws a generic error.

VUM was upgraded from 5.5 to 6.0 after vCenter was. Would like to get hosts done this weekend.

I've got it working now. I had upgraded VUM from  5.5 to 6.0 using the existing DB.

Reverted VUM6  upgrade to my functional 5.5 with a snapshot, uninstalled 5.5, then installed VUM 6 using the default SQL 2012 DB.

Works like a champ. Upgraded several hosts.
