VUM unable to reach patch store

Like the post says I'm unable to reach the patch store, we fixed an issue when putty'd into the host and are now able to get outside the network except the vum says it cant reach the patch store still. 

During this I've upgraded the vcsa to 6.7s latest patch 46000 and now Update Manager is also gone.

If VUM is gone from the UI, you should follow:

It might also be the STS service certificate that is incorrent, have a look at my blog and try to find out if this is applicable for you:

Next to this, you might want to configure/have a look at some settings through the updatemgr-util on the vCenter appliance shell.
