VUM change default directory for vmtools upgrade

Hi!

I'm using Update Manager to upgrade vmware tools on my VMs. Everything works fine on Windows machines, but I have a small problem with my Linux ones, the upgrade is initialized and then crashs with timeout error. The source of the problem that I've security policy in my Linux OS that scripts can't be run from /tmp directory (the volume is mounted with noexec option in /etc/fstab),

so /tmp/vmware-root/vmware-tools-upgrader-64 script fail to run.

My question is: how can I set options to Update Manager so that the vmtools upgrade operation for Linux machines run in another folder like /home/fool/ ?

Thank you in advance
