Update from ESX 3.5 u2 - order?

We have a small cluster of ESX 3.5 u2 servers and VC 2.5 u2. Should we upgrade Virtual Center first, then the ESX servers? Or, ESX first.

I recommend upgrade vCenter first. VMware engineers finally fixed the problem with update manager plugin unloading in vCenter 2.5u4.

I believe it is usually recommended to upgrade vCenter first and then the esx hosts.
