Update Manager Upgrade to 5.5.0 U2b failed

Hi!

Upgrade from Update Manger  Version 5.5.0.19906  to  5.5.0 U2b  failed with error Message: "The vCenter Server is incompatible with the Vmware vSphere Update Manager you are installing. Please select a compatible vCenter Server."

The upgrade from the vCenter Server works fine. I also found in the Logfiles:

[installerRunVCCommand, 379]  [VCSERVER] vc version = 5.5.0, installer supported version = 5.5.0, installer supported api version = 5.5.0, installer supports VC build no >= 1883858

[2014-11-11 14:32:58:176 '' 13184 DEBUG]  [installerRunVCCommand, 288]  [VCSERVER] return code from vc check version = 103

[2014-11-11 14:32:58:176 '' 13184 DEBUG]  [installerRunVCCommand, 349]  [VCSERVER] returning code = 103 from vc check.

Many Thanks for help

Manfred

Now it works. Many thank for the hint with the Version.

The Upgrade to Version 5.5.0U2b did not realy complete because the vpxd.exe process restarts automaticaly after it stops. I set the Service to disabled.

Now all Versions are up to date.

Thank you!
