  • 1.  Update Manager - Image Profile Unknown

    Hi all,

    I recently tried up patch my ESXi 5.1 with the latest patches using Update Manager.  Everything was working well until one of my hosts fails with the updates and I cant patch it.  I noticed that the Image Profile is now at "<Unknown - no profile defined>

    How can I correct this?  I patched 10 other hosts in this cluster and this one does not want to be patched.

    What can I do?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Mike,

    Did you ever find a resolution for this?

    I just ran into this with ESXi 5.5, I updated my vCenter appliance then went to update manager to patch the hosts and it would not remediate 1 of my 5 hosts.

    I checked the Image Profile section on the Summary tab and it was just like yours "<Unknown - no profile defined>"
