Select esx host updates?

When you configure what updates the update manager should download you can only select:

ESX updates

Windows updates

Linux updates.

Is there any way to select so that you only download updates for ESX 3.5.0 and skip the updates for 3.0.3 and embedded esx?

I see that I can filter them out when i create a baseline but that does not apply to what updates that are really downloaded.

Hi Jannep,

as I know 3.5 host updates are being downloaded locally only if you have 3.5 esx hosts. This is done only if you have 3.5 hosts in your VC inventory. Only the metadata for all other updates is downloaded and it is used when you do scanning of VMs and hosts. So if you remediated 3.0.3 host with any specific patch - only this patch is downloaded locally in order to be applied to the host.
