Question re: Updating ESX4.0 to ESXi4.1

With the latest vCenter and Update manager is it possible to upgrade a ESX4.0 host to ESXi4.1? We have sucessfully upgrade ESXi4.0 to ESXi4.1 but are waiting on building out the newest vCenter at antoher location. Just need to know if that will work or if I need to rebuild them from scratch.

sorry, but there is no way to update/upgrade from ESX to ESXi, you will have to rebuild the hosts.
