I am having issues upgrading from VUM 4.0 U2 to 4.1.
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
VMware vCenter Server is successfully upgraded to 4.1 on the same box and running.
When I try to install VMware Update Manager, it fails to register with vCenter Server and rolls back to the previous state. In the plugin window for the vCenter I can still see the old version of VUM being ready for download (but unable to do so!)
What can I do to remove all traces of VUM? THe box is a fresh install and should have no issues, other then sharing the same DB with vCenter...
