Patching ESXi Custom images (HPE) with Update Manager

Hi all,

We have installed ESXi custom images from HPE on our servers, now for regular released updates (ex: GA, EP, P.. etc), is it recommended to use VMware default repository in VMware Update Manager to deploy and install patches? what about drivers installed from the custom image, will it be overridden?

Did you find a way to do this?

Add HPE repository to update manager:

   - Use URL "http://vibsdepot.hpe.com/index.xml" to reference all the latest HPE value-add included in the HPE Custom Image from

     all the releases (for VUM)

   - Use URL "http://vibsdepot.hpe.com/index-drv.xml" to reference all the latest HPE and 3rd party device drivers included in the HPE

Custom Image from all the releases (for VUM)
