Esx 4.0 update1a

i just saw that vmware put back on the download webpage the ESX 4.0 update1a

now my download manager on the vCenter already downloaded the update1 and now when i did a "download now" i see two new patches

ESX400-200912101-UG ad ESX400-update01a, but there are still the old one in the repository

the KB url in the update1 link does not work, so how should i know how to roll the update,

should i remove (and if yes how to remove) the updates from the update manager and download a a fresh copy

thanks

You should always update you vcenter first!!

And I would uninstal the agnets first!! Smiley Happy

What happens if you scan your entity in your vum?

What kind of updates is your host missing?

If I do a scan host, i see that the two new patches overide the old ones. ...so far so god.

Do i have still to uninstall HP agents with these update?

and do i have to upgrade first the Vcenter to update 1 ?
