Error when clicking Plugin

I recently changed the data location of where Update Manager stores the files. I followed the instructions found here to change the path in an xml file (can't remember the file). When I try to enable the plugin I get this error "exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"

Anyone know what that means or how to fix this?

For storing of which files are you talking about?

You should change not only the values in the vci-integrity.xml. You should change also the VUM registry. It is located in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, inc.\VMware Update Manager"

'Patchstore value' is where patches are downloaded and 'InstallPath' is where VUM is installed.
