Can't see KB 1013026 in Update Manager

hi,

I'm using Update Manager to only upgrade my ESX 4 host and they're all in build 175625. I'm seeing on vmware website the KB 1013026 for upgrading the host to the build 181792 but update manager doesn't download it. Do you know if the kb are available in update manager after some time like microsoft with the service pack or i have a problem on update manager.

Can you help me ?

Thx

Download the following patch which includes the patch given in KB article.

ESX400-200907001

https://www.vmware.com/mysupport/s3portal.portal?_nfpb=true&_windowLabel=SearchPatch&SearchPatch_act...

Patch Download and Installation

See the VMware vCenter Update Manager Administration Guide for instructions on using Update Manager to download and install patches to automatically update ESX 4.0 hosts.

To update ESX 4.0 hosts when not using Update Manager, download the patch zip file from and install the bulletin using esxupdate from the command line of the host. For more information, see the ESX 4 Patch Management Guide.

yes. All tests passed correctly. I open the proxy less authentication for the vcenter server with url *.vmware.com *.shavlik.com. I think just *.vmware.com for ESX upgrade.

After upgrading ESX3.5 to ESX4 with update manager (after DL the iso), update manager download correctly the patch (1 month ago) but now, it oesn't work but i have no error in the task of download.

have you set any inclusion or exclusions in the update manager, which is preventing to install this patch.

The number show on the server console is good 181792 but the vcenter show the 175625 number.I think it's a vcenter bug.
