Broadcom (bnx2) Wake on LAN support disabled after installing driver updates

We have a customer running ESX3.5 on HP BL460c G1 blades. The built-in NICs are listed in VIC as Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM5708, using bnx2 driver. In Windows they show up as HP NC373i. It appears that installing either ESX350-200808410-BG or ESX350-200810209-UG disables the Wake on LAN support on those NICs. Anybody know why this is, or if there's a way to re-enable it?

I'm seeing the same thing on my 460c's

Also I have a BL680c (the 460c's big brother) where 2 nics are seen as NC326i (correct) and 2 are seen as BCM5708's : there actually NC373i according to HP Insite Manager
