thinapp office and access blocking each other (office software protection)

hello,

i have a strange problem regarding thinapp´d office standard and access.

i use kms for activation.

the following error message show up: "Microsoft Office cannot verify the license for this application. A  repair attempt failed or was canceled by the user. The Application will  now shut down."

i used the latest guide on http://blogs.vmware.com/thinapp/2011/02/quick-start-guide-for-deploying-office-2010-using-thinapp-46...

the problems occur in these situations:

when using thinapp´d office or access i get the above mentioned error message. the system is clean and no office was previously installed.

when using thinapp´d office or access - office was installed natively before on this machine - i get the error message

i tried the following possibilites:

  • (de)activating "office software protection service" when capturing office/access
  • removing OSPP files before capturing
  • setting kms-host with ospp.vbs before capturing
  • disabling/enabling "office software protection service" on the host where the thinapp´d office is run
  • capturing with windows 7 / windows xp
  • capturing with/without NET-framework (host has already net installed)
  • installed Office 2010 APP-V deployment kit on host and/or machine where capturing
  • A POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS OF THE ABOVE POINTS...

how can this be? as you can see i already tried nearly every possible configuration.

the system where the thinapp should run is 64 bit.

i hope someone can give me a hint what i have forgotten or where to search for a mistake!

Whats the observation when launching MS Access, which is a part of office 2010 thinapp?
