how to set 512 MB of RAM in captured application ?

I have made VM with 512 MB RAM on VMware workstation and I have instaled ThinApp on VM .

Then I have captured an application A on this VM and I have tried to deploy this captured application on users computer.

I expected that this application will use 512 RAM on users computer but it didn't.

Does anybody know how to set 512 MB of RAM in captured application ?

I expected that this application will use 512 RAM on users computer but it didn't.

Why did you expect it?

There is no difference where this app was captured.

The memory usage is the matter of original application (mostly) if it needs 1024 MB RAM and you have it (or you have more) - the app will take it (so virtualised app too).

Thank you for your explanation. I am a new ThinApp user.

In documentation I have found:

"The target executable file accesses other

parts of the application stored in the virtual operating system. The runtime client intercepts such requests and

serves them by loading DLLs from the virtual operating system."

I expected that this "virtual operating system" is something more then virtual registry and virtual devices.

But it is not virtual machine.
