Windows Installer popups

Hi,

I am working with the demo version of ThinApp and XP.  I ThinApped my application but when I ran it Windows Installer starts and hangs the program.
I saw one answer in the forums saying to delete the msi packages and references in the virtual registry and this stopped the hanging but I still and the application works now but the windows installer message is still popping up and disappearing as the program initializes components.

Does anyone know how I can get these components to install properly and get rid of the Windows installer popups?   T.

Have you captured the Application on a clean machine?

Can you check the application log in the Event viewer for Windows Installer errors?

Another try: Remove the %SystemRoot%\Installer folder from your ThinApp project folder, rebuild and check.

I've seen this link posted in other ThinApp threads.  Perhaps you'll find an answer there:

I finally ironed out my problems thanks to your comments and the troubleshooting guide at http://blogs.vmware.com/thinapp/2009/05/app-troubleshooting.html

Thanks for your input guys.
