Windows 7 and environment variables

I'm trying to use environment variables to move sandboxes around to see where we want to put them (locally for some, network drives for others) but I'm running into an issue with Windows 7 and environment variables.

In XP I put the THINSTALL_SANDBOX_DIR in place and it moved the sandbox right away, but on Win 7 I can't get it to move at all.

same with <AppName>_SANDBOX_DIR.

Anyone else have either the same experiance or have it working?

Also is there a list of all the variables Thinapp takes?

I hadn't found that one, but it gives us more caution on how to set these up, but part of my problem is on Win 7 I can't get the redirection to even start the same way it does on XP.
