If the application virtualized with ThinApp supports USB dongle I would say anyone would work. As long as any device drivers are installed on the physical client.

ThinApp itself has no built in USB dongle support. Perhaps clever vb-scripting could be used but nothing I've seen.

hi huangj,

for a big project using thinapp in italy we have delpoyed about 6 thinapp on a microsd.

I've done a big analisys on wich microusb would be better for that, and I've realized the parameter most influencing for a good user experience is the memory response time and not the total throughput.

For example, we have tried a Lexar Class 6 that would arriva up to 10MBps on a single file copy but Internet Explorer takes up to 3 minutes to start.

On a SanDisk class 4 with a 2 MBPS on a single file copy Internet Eplorer starts in about 20second.

So there isn't an indication by vmware but you can useful some free tool to test your dongle and choose that with best response time.
