When I run the ThinApp exe file it does not extract

Hi,

I have just downloaded an evaluation copy of ThinApp and when I run this the window shows 0% extracting and then goes no further. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

My System is Windows 7 SP1 x64 running on an Intel Core i5 with 8Gb RAM.

I already run VMware Workstation 8 on this system.

You can install ThinApp on 64-bit Windows.  You cannot capture 64-bit applications.

The download could be corrupted.

You mention Workstation 8.  Are you downloading ThinApp from within a VM in Workstation?  Have you updated to Workstation 8.0.1?  Did you try downloading ThinApp 4.7?  Can you download ThinApp somewhere else, meaning from the host machine, or on a different connection?
