VMware View Premier with ThinApp

Hi there,

I have a vSphere environment and would like to use ThinApp with VMware View. I have entered my VMware Desktop license in vCenter Server, allowing to host up to 100 VMs. So far so good.

However, when building ThinApp packages, I am asked for a license too. What is the name of the license I have to enter here.

The licenses I have are:

vSphere 4 for Desktop

View 4 Premier Add-on (View Manager and Composer)

View 4 Premier Add-on (View Manager, Composer and Offline Desktop)

Am I correct in thinking that I am missing some license here to run ThinApp?

Is the licenses above any indication of View Enterprise of View Premier?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Erik Meinders

On the website you must see also a Workstation and a ThinApp license key.

Log at VMWare website with your account and look for License keys.

you should see another set of license key for thinapp if it does not appear then you would need to trace back your order and have the license support add it in for you.
