We get many inquiries asking whether, when a portable software is created with Thin app for a trial copy of any commercially available software---the trial peroid can be extended indefinitely as the registry and the computer clock isignals are isolated from the portable software. Is this true?
Not really, it depends on how the application checks the time count. In most cases, the application will not work after the trail expires.
A good example for this is Office 2010 trial.
Please note that ThinApp is not suppose to overcome the licensing issues of applications.
